SONNY GERACI CONTRACT RIDER 

Annexed to and made a part of contract dated _______________________ , 200___
Between:  UTOPIA ARTISTS, LLC (hereinafter "Agent")
And:         ____________________________________________________________________________________ (hereinafter "Purchaser")

This rider will become part and parcel of the contract and must be signed by the purchaser or contract will become NULL AND VOID. 

1.  No advertising of the performance may be issued in any form prior to receipt of signed contract from Artist.  
2. Balance of all payments are due to the Artist 1 hour (60 min.) PRIOR to performance, IN CASH.  
3. 

Artist to be billed as: THE SONNY GERACI SHOW   - or - 
SONNY GERACI, the original voice of "Time Won't Let Me" and "Precious & Few"

 
4. 

Artist to receive 100% top star billing in all advertising and publicity. 
As Artist is not a 1950’s era performer, please refrain from advertising as such.

 
5. 

Artist’s agent must approve any additional artist(s) that may be appearing on show.

 
6. 

All interviews must be cleared through Artist’s agent. Only photos supplied by agent may be used for promoting the show. Copies of any publicity photos, reviews, etc. would be appreciated by Artist’s agent. Contact Artist’s agent at: Utopia Artists ________________.

 
7.  Artist’s crew must have control over the set up of the stage and the placement of sound equipment during the performance. Stage must be dimensions of at least 16’ deep by 20’ wide for nightclubs and 24’ by 32’ for concerts.  
8. 

Artist reserves the sole and exclusive right to sell The Sonny Geraci Show buttons, shirts, pictures, albums, etc. Purchaser  is to make adequate space available for selling these articles and provide at no cost to Artist, one (1) 8 foot table placed appropriately and one or two responsible persons to man concession table. These persons will be paid by Artist at an hourly rate of no less than minimum wage. Purchaser  will be responsible for any shrinkage of inventory at concession table.

 
9. Artist to have twelve (12) of the top priced tickets available at no charge, to be released for sale if not used on day of show.

Artist’s obligations are subject to detention or prevention by act of God, sickness, accident, means of transportation, natural catastrophes, riots, strikes, any act of public authority, or any other cause beyond Artist’s control.

 
11.

Purchaser  is also to provide at no cost to Artist:
A clean, well lit, heated/air conditioned dressing room with bathroom, washroom and well lit mirrors. This is for Artist’s use only.
Artist to have 1 or 2 security personnel near dressing rooms at all times to escort Artist to and from stage and vehicle.

 
12. 

a.  Purchaser to provide 2 horn players (trumpet and tenor saxophone), capable of reading and performing the Artist’s musical director’s charts at a professional level. Please see attached document for complete stage plot and backline requirements.

b.  A professional sound system and operators for sound check and performance to consist of an audio mixing console of not less than sixteen (16) channel input. A six (6) channel monitor system is also required, with operator. A professional quality cordless microphone. Venue shall be available to Artist for at least one (1) hour prior to show for sound check.

c.  Purchaser  to provide a lighting system capable of even coverage of the stage and an experienced operator for such. Purchaser  also to provide a minimum of one (1) follow spotlight with experienced operator.

13. 

Four (4) single rooms [seven (7) single room if horns are provided] in first class hotel accommodations — not less than a nationally recognized franchise (i.e., Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn.)

 
14. 

A hot meal for four (4) people [seven (7) people if horns are provided] consisting of one (1) meat and three (3) vegetables with an ample supply of coffee and tea to be provided at a time mutually agreed upon between Artist and Purchaser .

 
15. 

Artist requests the following to be placed in dressing room: a deli tray prior to show consisting of assorted deli meats, cheeses, crackers, fruit and vegetables, twenty four (24) liters of Evian water, twenty four (24) Cokes, eight (8) hand towels. Artist also requests that eight (8) hand towels and cups of water be placed on stage, such placements to be at the direction of the Artist.

 
16.

Transportation for ten (10) people, available at all times, to and from airport, hotel, restaurants and venue from arrival time to departure.

 

ALL TERMS OF THIS RIDER ARE ACCEPTED BY THE PURCHASER UNLESS THEY ARE WAIVED BY ARTIST MANAGEMENT AND INITIALED.  UNINITIALED MODIFICATIONS OR DELETIONS WILL VOID RIDER.  FAILURE TO SIGN RIDER WILL BE CAUSE TO CANCEL THE ENGAGEMENT.
